Cast Iron Spice Grinder Plus Three Favorite Whole Spices

For the boldest, most potent spices, we strongly recommend grinding whole spices. Sure, you can do it in an electric mill, but we love the effectiveness of the Skeppshult Cast Iron Spice Mill as well as its Scandinavian design – it looks terrific. We leave it out on the countertop as an objet d’art but it is also remarkably effective. The grinding surfaces are coarse for quick work and you can store whole or ground spices in the top of the mill just under the wooden cover.
