We rely on citrus to add a clarifying spritz of acidity to many of our recipes. Usually, we just squeeze a lemon or lime wedge between our fingers and fish out the seeds, but we were just introduced to these insertable spritzer heads that work surprisingly well. Twist the sharp screw into the fruit, then spritz away. The fruit can be stored with the spritzer in for a couple days without ill effect—it even comes with stabilizing ring to stand the fruit up in. For the best results, use room-temperature fruit and roll it to soften up the interior membrane.
- To clean, simply run under warm water and spray to remove pulp
