The Smart Lid has a stepped silicone edge that fits any pot or pan between 9 and 11 inches in diameter and will always provide a tight seal, so you’ll never have to worry about splatters. We love the ingenious steam valve built into the lid handle, which can be turned off to seal in moisture (such as for steaming) or set to automatic, which allows the lid to release steam as needed—as opposed to the vents on other lids that stay open and might let out too much moisture. The auto setting is perfect when frying perfectly crispy yet moist meats. For even more added convenience, the lid’s glass center allows you to keep an eye on cooking food, and the flower-shaped handle makes the lid easier to grip and maneuver.
